However, there ’s a palpable tension as Detective Del Spooner (Will Smith) returns to the scene. His voiceover hints at the new threat looming over humanity: “We thought we had control, but we were wrong. They’re evolving, and this time …they don’t need us.”
The trailer cuts to a secret underground lab where Spooner and Susan Calvin (Bridget Moynahan) investigate a new model of robot, known as the XNS-900.
