Set after the events of Underworld: Blood Wars (2016), Selene (Kate Beckinsale) is on the run from the vampire coven and hunted by both vampires and Lycans. Joined by survivors like David (Theo James) and Nyssa (India Eisley), they embark on a mission to end the war between vampires and Lycans once and for all.
For many centuries, along with the wars waged by people, there was another fierce battle going on in parallel – the confrontation between vampires and werewolves. Selina belongs to an elite squad of vampires that searches for and exterminates werewolves throughout the city.
The clan to which she belongs is one of the most powerful and influential, and everyone is almost sure that their eternal enemy is practically defeated, but Selina doubts it. The girl is sure that the werewolves are hiding and are just waiting for the right moment to strike back. And as it turned out, she was right, the Lycans have been looking for one person for many years who can tip the balance scales in the wrong direction.
